Field Report from Ramona Singer's Wine Event on May 24th

Bravo Fan and Champion Field Reporter, Trish O'Shea met Ramona at a "Wine Signing" in New Jersey. Thank you Trish!

On Tuesday, I got home from school and sat down to watch the "second to last" Oprah episode! While surfing through Twitter, I notice that Ramona Singer (from Real Housewives of New York City) "tweeted", "On my way to my wine bottle signing at Total Wine in River Edge, NJ. Really? Ten minutes away from me (and a store that I drive past every day coming home from work??) Sign me up!

I headed down there a few minutes after 5 p.m. and arrived to see Ramona sitting at a table right near the door. I walked over, introduced myself and told me that I might be posting pictures for Blogging Bravo. She told me that that was fine and thanked me for asking in advance!

Ramona is just like she is on the show; demanding ("Zoom out and be sure to get all the bottles in the picture!"), somewhat pushy ("I'm marketing my wine, my skin care, my jewelry which I am wearing!") and friendly - all at the same time! It was like talking to an old friend!

I asked about the show and the upcoming episodes in Morocco. She said that even though the trip airs in the three parts, the visit was only about 6 days. And she was not worried about seeing the episodes, "They're fine, the show is fine."

The store wasn't filled to capacity, but there were some "Housewives" fans on hand to show their love for Ramona. The very friendly staff was also offering samples of the Pinot Grigio, but I never made it over to that side of the table! However, those who did sample the wine really seemed to enjoy it!

Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Two Premiere Party

Our own Trish O'Shea attended the Real Housewives of New Jersey premiere party and sends us this report. Our sincere thanks go out to Trish, to Kristen, Ryan and Andy at Bravo and to the very generous Manzo family for your gracious invitation.

“Let me tell you something about Caroline!”

That’s how Bravo’s Andy Cohen introduced “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Caroline Manzo at the fabulous Season 2 premiere party she and her family hosted Monday night at the Brownstone House (where else?)

I think what he wanted to tell us about her was that the woman knows how to throw a party!

I arrived at the Brownstone at around 7 p.m. (a short 15 minute ride from my house!) and felt like a VIP until I left! I was given a Bravo credential, which allowed me access to the upstairs area earlier than some of the other guests. I ran into Valerie Brown from Bravo (it’s always a pleasure to see her!) Andy Cohen arrived shortly thereafter and he stopped to chat and take pictures (he gave a special shoutout to Laura K, The Minx, and everyone at Blogging Bravo!)

She by Sheree at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

Blogging Bravo Field Reporter Trish O'Shea graciously covered the She by Sheree Fashion Show in New York on Sunday Sept 13th. Thanks Trish!

A few weeks back I was checking the NY Fashion Week schedule and noticed on the list "She by Sheree." At Fashion Week??? Well me being the quintessential "Real Housewives" fan I IMMEDIATELY signed up for the job!

It was a good thing that I checked that schedule again the morning of the show because if I hadn't, I would have missed the whole thing! The venue AND time had changed! Sigh...

I headed over to the city from New Jersey and got on-street parking very close to the venue (score!) I wasn't sure exactly which entrance was the right one but then I noticed some very fashionable people standing outside so I figured I was in the right place - and I was! A line began to form (although no one actually TOLD us to line up!) About 45 minutes later, they starting letting people in and away we went - upstairs to the "Red Bull Space" on Thompson and Watts!

The event wasn't a "runway," it was more of what fashion shows are becoming - drinks, snacks and clothes! Three looks came out at first on a stage, but the girls were quickly directed to stand on platforms in the room so that more looks could come out on a stage. Fabulous folks noshed on fruit, bagels, pastries and drinks as they checked out Sheree's designs.

It was hard to tell exactly how many looks we saw since it took a while for the models to rotate but the clothes for the most part were beautifully designed. I do agree with some of the others reviews I've read of the show - the styling was what REALLY pushed the collection over the edge. It had sort of a "bling" factor featuring necklaces that in most cases were worked INTO the clothes, rather than just accessorize. I LOVED the white pants, paired with the silver top that had the "bling" worked into the back - unexpected!

We were told about half-way through that Sheree would be appearing for photographs and then would be available to answer questions. She took the stage and posed for photos flanked by her models. Sheree was wearing a black dress with a low back and it looked great on her, but no one was clear on whether or not the look was part of the collection.

Andrew Christian in Houston

Houston-based field reporter and Bravo fan, John C, sends us this report from Houston. Thank you John.

Hey Blogging Bravo,

I had the good fortune to meet Andrew Christian in Houston this weekend! Andrew hosted a meet-and-greet at a local menswear store, and produced a fashion show at a club later that night.

Andrew actually seemed a little...reserved...compared to other reality show personalities I've encountered. He very graciously signed paraphernalia, and we chatted for a bit about "The Fashion Show". I inquired as to whether the winning designer had any input into the final design sold on bravotv.com, and whether they received any financial rewards from the sales. Surprisingly, no on both accounts.

We of course discussed the drama that erupted during this week's judging concerning Daniella and the "stolen" concepts! Andrew obviously stands behind his design, and naturally felt some vindication with Norma Kamali's quick dismissal of Daniella's remarks. He suspects some producer meddling as a catalyst to the drama, and reflected on how much "real" remains in "reality TV."

The underwear show later that night was quite impressive, but I'm withholding pictures in keeping with Blogging Bravo's family-oriented sensibilities =). Good luck to Andrew throughout the rest of the competition!
