The Return of the Real Housewives of Atlanta
SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD AS BRAVO'S "THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA"
RETURNS OCTOBER 4 AT 9 PM ET/PT
Third Season of Hit Series Returns With Two New Housewives: Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks
RETURNS OCTOBER 4 AT 9 PM ET/PT
Third Season of Hit Series Returns With Two New Housewives: Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks
NEW YORK - August 19, 2010 - The highly anticipated third season of Bravo's hit series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" returns Monday, October 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Bolder than ever, Kandi, Kim, NeNe and Sheree have been busy pursuing their dreams and striving to maintain their relationships. Coupled with the additions of model Cynthia Bailey and entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks, this is a season not to miss.
The series is an up-close and personal look at six fabulous women from Atlanta's social elite - from Grammy-Award winners to aspiring singers, power brokers to super models - as they juggle their burgeoning careers and busy home lives amidst the whirl of the south's hottest city. Atlanta has become one of the hottest entertainment hubs in America, and the Housewives are taking their individual talents to new heights in search of stardom. These driven and ambitious women prove that they're not just "housewives," but entrepreneurs, doting mothers and feisty southern women. To meet the Atlanta Housewives, go to: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-atlanta/videos/head-back-to-atlanta
Meet the new Housewives:
· Cynthia Bailey - Glamorous Cynthia resides in Atlanta with her 10-year old daughter, Noelle. The Alabama-born beauty moved to New York City 18 years ago to pursue her dream of modeling. Her very first booking was the cover of Essence, but that was only the beginning. From major fashion features to the runways of Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks and from staring in a movie opposite Sandra Bernhardt to a guest role on the Cosby Show, Cynthia has had an enviable career path.
Cynthia joins the Housewives at a pivotal time in her relationship with her boyfriend of three years, Peter Thomas. He has issued her an ultimatum, and though Cynthia has always been independent and financially comfortable, she must come to terms with her marriage hang-ups or risk losing him for good. Already a close friend of Nene's, their friendship deepens as together they struggle through relationship issues with the men in their lives.
· Phaedra Parks - Phaedra is a celebrated entertainment attorney who lives in the historic Vinings area. She is the Managing Partner of The Parks Group, P.C., an Atlanta based boutique law firm that caters nationally to entertainers and athletes. An active member of the community, Phaedra, a self-proclaimed "Southern Belle," sits on numerous boards and is involved in multiple charities.
A friend of Dwight and Kandi's, Phaedra arrives on the Housewives scene under scrutiny. Phaedra's marriage to her younger husband, Apollo, is the subject of much gossip because of his stint in prison for a "white collar crime." She is expecting her first child with Apollo and has thrown herself into planning the perfect southern baby shower.

A night at the Museum
Blogging Bravo Field reporter, Mark Y attended the "Work of Art" Finale Viewing Party and send us this great report. Thank you Mark!
Thanks very much for letting me pinch hit for you folks last night at Bravo's viewing party for "Work of Art." It was a great event at the Brooklyn Museum of Art. Move over Andy Warhol - make room for Abdi.
I have to hand it to the PR staff at Bravo because this event was just the right size. Not too many people (and two bars!) so we had great access to the artists, judges and other guests. (Other guests included Sarah Jessica Parker and Countess Luann de Lesseps from the Real Housewives of New York City!)
Speaking of the Countess - if you think the Countess looks attractive on television, she is stunning in person. Her skin seems to glow as if she is lit from within. She wore a short dress that had an art deco vibe to it. I called her LuAnn - was that wrong?
Everybody's favorite, Andy Cohen was there. What a high-wattage smile he has. He's beyond charming and gracious and acted like he was expecting me when I told him "Laura K sent me." He told me that he really likes WOA and hopes there is a Season Two.

Viewers have watched as Lewis struggled with an economic downturn, some unruly clients, & even a few backstabbing employees, but somehow Jeff always finds a way to flip things right side up again. And when Jeff expands on his family of disgruntled yet lovable employees: Jenni has been promoted, Jeff’s bubbly sister-in-law Sara is back as his full time assistant, & Trace Lenhoff, the intern a.k.a. “mini-Jeff” is back as a full time employee, it seems his team is in-place. With all of his new-found success, will Jeff be able to balance it all or will he become even more neurotic than ever?
