..and they are "mixed."

In general viewers seem to like the contestants and the challenges. We like Isaac but of course "he is no Tim Gunn."

I haven't read any review or recap that has much positive to say about Kelly Rowland. Maybe with more time, she'll grow on us.

Here is Zap2it...

...and Entertainment Weekly.

Spoke too soon, this reviewer likes Kelly!

Reactions to The Fashion Show Episode One

What did you think? Will you watch the show next week? Did you agree with the judges? Who were your favorites?

I'll admit that Merlin's design was my favorite. I was kind of surprised by the choice of winner. Were you?

The Fashion Show Premiere

Don't miss the high-energy fun of "The Fashion Show" premiere tomorrow night!

If you love Project Runway, this should definitely make you happy.

The stars of the show are the designers - as it should be. Kelly and Isaac are great in their respective roles. We don't see too much of Fern Mallis in the first episode, but she certainly makes her opinion known.

As we expect in the first episode of any reality show, the contestants are mostly a blur. We're just getting to know them and haven't quite everyone sorted out yet. There are a few standouts as well as a few stereotypes...

The models are barely seen except for on the runway and they are absolutely lovely. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better.

If you are setting your tivo or DVR remember that this is a supersized episode - 75 minutes!
