Tune in tonight for the third episode of "Platinum Hit." I am loving this show and have requested interviews with the "eliminated contestants." Please send your questions. Thank you!
In an interesting poll, last week you believed that Nao Bustamante should have been the winner AND that she should have been eliminated. Perhaps Nao's supporters came out in force to vote for her. Anyone who has this many fans must be very talented!
On to this week's episode. Did you agree with the judges?
Launch My Line designer David Applebaum talks to us about his experience on the show. David also shares the key to telling the twins apart... Click here for the podcast.
When a “trend forecaster” stops by to show the designers how trends are set and what will be popular for 2010, the contestants must pay attention to incorporate into the 2nd look of their collection. The designers are then taken to Venice Beach to seek inspiration for a daytime look using colors and silhouettes that will set the trends for the upcoming season. The pressure takes a toll on the contestants as one expert threatens to leave his/her partner, will they quit the competition?
Fell asleep halfway through the first episode? Want another look at the scene between Roberto and Patrick? Can't even remember who won this challenge? Here's a recap!
"The Fashion Show" designer Johnny Rodriguez describes his experiences on the show. Johnny is a huge Bravo fan and admits that his favorite housewife is Nene Leakes. Johnny also reveals that the finalists each received $7500 and "about a month and a half" to create their finale collections.
IT'S IN THE CARDS The remaining designers are challenged to create loungewear to complement designer Fernando Sanchez’s top selling luxury robes. The winning creation will be sold at Saks Fifth Avenue and that designer will have an advantage in the elimination round. Questioning their fate, the contestants are whisked to a Tarot card who predicts their future in the competition. They come to find that this experience will have more of an effect on their resulting design than they originally imagined. The winning design will be available for purchase on BravoTV.com. Vivienne Tam sits in as guest judge.
